That’s Sardinia right across from my feet. It was such a clear day that day. I love Corsica.
On the other hand it’s official, I hate my camera, I had to retouch this on photoshop in order to get the real colours, aargh!
Now it’s back to work and back to crash dieting for a few days. On the way back both my suitcase and I were around 4 kilos overweight, good job the holiday was only a week. I know it’s a lot, but binge drinking + binge eating + zero exercize tends to do that to me. It’s a compulsary weight loss as i have to take pictures of my designs. Drag Quentin into town and just get on with it. It’s bad enough having to use myself as a model, so if i’m fat as well, i may as well beg my pregnant neighbour to pose for me, she’s so pretty.

Oh how I love to do photo tests. Setting the timer and running in front of the camera, taking poses and feeling ridiculous, that’s what i call fun. What’s even more fun is realizing all that time spent being an egg was for nothing because all the photos are either too bright, too blurry, too blue, too white… in other words of very mediocre quality. I was really relying on my not too expensive not too cheap camera to do wonders as i intend to gradually replace the pictures on the site and i want to find a good style for my Etsy store, well, i’m bitterly disappointed. Now i feel i should take photography lessons, just what i need. Or be rich so i can buy one of those “just click and get a gorgeous photo” cameras.

Then again on the bright side, I’m off to Corsica tomorrow! Finally a holiday. I intend to take this stupid camera and figure out how to take decent photos with it, damn it. Besides I checked out the weather forecast and as much as Corsica is renowned for its reliable perfect weather, bastard Murphy and his law has chosen next week to be the annual crap weather. So i will have plenty of time to play around with my toy camera.

Still picking on my poor capuccino, after shortening the length now it’s the collar i’m not entirely happy with. After trying it on i thought it was a little too high… You can see the never-ending evolution here.
