This is a project for my friend Meg. I was so scared of not having enough yarn that i was a little too stingy with my CO sts. I was kind of relying on the stretch of the beehive motif, nay. After reaching the waist part i used the super steam press from work to stretch it out but i just had to admit i had been too stingy.

This is what it looked like after i unravelled it all.

And now it’s almost back to where it was before it was undone. This represents how far one ball of yarn will go, so i have hope that i’ll have enough with my 8, or 7 i can’t remember..

On a pattern making mission here. Quite knackered but hanging in there. Cheers

I won’t lie, this new job is very very welcome, i can see from here the grin on my bank manager’s face. For now it’s just the sewing part that’s put on hold on Etsy, cause the knitting is still going at a good pace.

I haven’t included the NY newsboy cap i slightly altered, only did the increases differently and did a 1/1 rib knitting all k sts tbl. It’s mildly noticeable but looks really cool.

This new job is starting on Wednesday and is going to be full on, i hope i’ll still have time for my “in front of tv” knitting at night. Below is a little close-up of the moebius scarves soon available on Etsy.
