Today is Friday and my mission for Ugo Zaldi is finished, I am absolutely exhausted. The first prototypes have been coming in from China in dribs and drabs. I know, i feel terrible for the french seamstresses as well… Everything seems ok, let’s hope it lasts. The big trade show is in January so will have to wait till then before i can release any official pictures.
Only a few days till xmas and i have a few Moebius oders to finish, and start! All the scarves above have already found an owner. Funny that beginner’s luck, the grafting on my very first moebius is litterally invisible, and do you think i managed the same wonders on my next ones, noooo, of course not. I think i did the right thing by leaving them in the cupboard, hopefully next time i look at them i’ll have to look really hard to find that grafting seam. Anyway, i’m very excited because at the same time i’m working on a very cool driver’s cap, and so far it’s going pretty well.

What a thrill to see a happy customer. Cedric never parts with the Moebius his mother bought from me for his birthday. See how bad the quality of the photo is… The great news -besides having a happy customer- is that i’m in for a new pattern making mission, which means more money in the bank, which means i’m getting closer to that new camera, yeah!

After one month of working the craziest hours, i’m thrilled to enjoy a little break. I finally found the time to wander around the Galleries Lafayette and buy some makeup on which i am putting all of my hopes. I tested it this morning in the park, Quentin took some pics while we werer walking the dog, i must say i’m pretty glad with the result, it’s much better on the photos than in reality, which is what i wanted. On the photo it looks like i have nothing on when in reality i look like one of those young career girls who still have the courage and motivation to take that half an hour in the morning to look their best.

Now i have to buy a new camera, a good one this time! I’m so disappointed in this one, most of the pics taken this morning were blurry… If anyone has some wise advice on that please contact me. I am now going to put some ready-made scarves for sale on Etsy, how exciting!
